Inspired Visual create school wall art for Dean Trust Ardwick

The School wall graphics and decals that we offer are a fantastic way to create attractive, cost-effective and inspiring school classrooms and corridors for students and staff alike. By using informative, educational and aspirational graphics, Dean Trust Ardwick aimed to use these products to inspire its students to reach their full potential. Here we take a closer look at how our team of school wall art specialists helped this high school brighten up the interior of its school buildings.

The challenge

To inform and inspire pupils and staff at Dean Trust Ardwick.

We were approached by Dean Trust Ardwick in Manchester to design, print and install a variety of school wall graphics and displays to enhance the internal environment of the academy for its students, staff and visitors. The school in Manchester wanted to line their walls with inspiring Timelines, Innovators in Science and technology and Diversity Wall Graphics. Using the available wall spaces in the corridors, classrooms, reception and entrance areas, we were asked to come up with a number of school wall graphics that could inspire the school’s students and staff every time they entered the school.

The solution

A number of fantastic graphics were spread around the Academy.

Taking into account the layout of the school’s buildings, as well as its colours, values and beliefs, we came up with effective visuals using a variety of graphics, icons, quotes and display frames that can be updated easily to keep them looking fresh.

Execution made easy.

Over 1000 sq metres of printed graphics were installed in the corridors and communal areas of the School. They were designed to brighten up the interior of the building, providing direction and creating a positive learning environment for all.

Fantastic high school wall graphics installed out of hours, on time and within the client’s budget.

The graphics were printed using a one piece wallpaper and finished with an anti-graffiti and anti-microbial laminate for added durability. Some of the larger walls were printed in 20m x 3m sections and were cut around doors, switches and windows to give a seamless finish. The installation took place in the evenings and weekends, so there was no disruption to lessons and the student’s education.

‘Having a blank canvas in a new large secondary school building is exciting yet daunting ! We wanted our walls to look bright, inspiring and informative. We chose to  work with Inspired Visual and I can honestly say the quality of their work is outstanding. Being a small team, they are professional in every aspect of their work. They have paid attention to every single detail , they do their research, and ensure that they meet all our requests.
Inspired Visual have worked extremely hard to meet the deadlines we have requested, and that has meant working late and coming into school at weekends. They have worked around us which is extremely helpful in a busy secondary school. They have consulted with us right through from the initial ideas to completion. The designers are spot on and we are immensely proud of what now is a stunning looking school. I would highly recommend them to anybody looking to bring to life and smarten their surroundings. They certainly do produce ‘inspiring visuals.’
